Like most parents, Alyssa Milano is proud of her child’s achievements—but in her case, she has every reason to brag. The actress, who celebrated her 40th birthday in December with a ’90s-themed party, told Us Weekly her son Milo “started talking at four months, he started crawling at five months, and he started walking at 12 months! He thinks he’s 12 years old!”

The adorable 18-month-old may be joined by another baby genius soon: Milano and her husband David Bugliari are talking about expanding their family. “We’re not actively trying, but we’re not not trying, if that makes sense,” said the actress at the Feb. 7 pre-Grammy Awards party at the Getty House in L.A.

Milano, who is returning to the small screen in ABC’s upcoming midseason series Mistresses, also gushed about her son. “He’s kind of got the best of both of us, I think,” she mused. “I think he’s a lot more of a showman than I was at that age. He likes to perform already. He loves animals, which he gets from me.” (The family has five dogs, ten horses, and chickens.)

Given Milo’s love of the spotlight, would Milano mind if he became an actor like Mommy? “Before I had a child I would have said, ‘Absolutely not, he’s not doing it.’ But I’ve realized since having him that the most important thing as a parent is to cultivate and nurture who they innately are and to be supportive of who they are,” she said. “So if he were to decide that he wanted to try that out, I think I would have to be supportive.”

In case you feel like you don’t have enough drama in your life, ABC is seeking to fill that void with Mistresses, an adaptation of the popular British series. The stateside cast includes Alyssa Milano and Lost’s Yunjin Kim as part of a group of girlfriends whose love lives are active and sexy, but very complicated. I gave the pilot a watch to bring you my verdict on Mistresses and whether you should set your DVR to record this soapy new series.

  • What it’s about: Savannah (Milano), April (Rochelle Aytes), Josslyn (Jes Macallan), and Karen (Kim) are a tight-knit group of friends, and they’re each in a different transition in their love lives. Married Savannah is trying to get pregnant, widowed April is trying to date again, therapist Karen is getting over the death of her lover, and Jes is single and loving it — and she intends to stay that way. Each woman’s situation is far from smooth sailing, though, and the pilot introduces you to a series of dilemmas, most of them related to infidelity, as you could guess from the title.
  • Where it works: Mistresses is addictive from the very first episode. It’s packed full of juicy story lines and sexy situations, like Savannah’s temptation to cheat on her husband with a sexy colleague, or a shocking revelation about April’s past, and I found myself dying to see what happens next.
  • Where it doesn’t: The cast still needs to find their chemistry. Aside from Savannah and Josslyn, who are sisters, it’s not clear why these women are friends and spend time together. It’s melodramatic to the extreme (though if you’re into that, dive right in).
  • You might like this show if: You miss shows like Lipstick Jungle and Desperate Housewives.
  • When it’s on: May on ABC.

Alyssa Milano’s husband David Bugliari turned back the hands of time to celebrate the Charmed actress’ 40th birthday!

CAA agent Bugliari threw his wife a surprise party at The London in West Hollywood Dec. 14, multiple sources tell Us Weekly exclusively. “It’s prom-themed because Alyssa didn’t have a prom and hers would have been in 1990s,” one insider reveals of the former child star. “Everybody dressed up and everyone got a corsage when they walked in.”

Several of Milano’s famous friends — including Ludacris, Ken Jeong and Brian Grazer — joined in on the fun. As DJ Vicious-Lee played Milano’s favorite hits, guests were able to take prom-style portraits in a photo booth.

Hello netters! First, I would like to apology for the lack of updates here at Alyssa Milano Online. I have some great updates for you soon, but I’ve just been super busy with other stuff lately! Bunches of content and screencapture updates are on the way though. For now, I have a little article for you lot + a utterly adorable photoshoot picture of Alyssa and Milo! In honor of Milo’s first birthday, Alyssa has created a fundraising goal which will be donated to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Read all about it below – and check out the cute new photo in our galleries! To donate to Alyssa’s fundraising efforts, visit indiegogo.com.

Alyssa Milano is already instilling a strong sense of charity in her baby boy Milo Thomas.
After recently helping Gonzalito, a 4-year-old boy suffering from leukemia, obtain treatment through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the actress became a mom on a mission in order to spread the love even further.

In honor of her son’s Aug. 31 birthday — he turns one! — Milano has set a fundraising goal of $50,000 by Sept. 9, with proceeds being donated to the medical center.

“St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital provides immense relief to parents and children from everywhere, who go through harrowing situations no one should have to endure,” she writes.

Established to treat children diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, St. Jude offers treatment and research without any cost to the families.

Alyssa Milano was “overwhelmed” by the birth of her baby.

The 39-year-old actress and her husband David Bugliari welcomed son Milo Thomas into the world in August.

Milo is Alyssa’s first child, and she found the labour an awe-inspiring experience.

“Overwhelming and beautiful and everything in between,” she replied when asked how the birth was. “It was a profound experience. I had moments of apprehension throughout my pregnancy but when those fears popped into my head, I just kept telling myself that this is what my body was made to do and to trust that I had all the tools to have a healthy labour and delivery.”

Alyssa’s life feels complete now she has her baby.

The stunning star was overcome with emotions when she first set eyes on her newborn son.

“The first time I saw Milo I finally understood my purpose in life,” she gushed to OK! magazine.

“I think it was more emotional than I thought it would be. Even now, I can’t really put it into words how I felt. To be honest, I can’t even put into words the love I feel now when I look at him.”
